What is included in the Advanced Dentistry Institute implant surgery course?

The course is a five‑day live patient implant surgery programme in Chennai, India. It begins with lectures and typodont practice in Australia, followed by placement of 10 to 12 implants on screened patients under specialist mentors’ supervision using CBCT software, surgical kits and restorative planning.

Each participant is assigned a specialist mentor and Dr Yohan Thomas or equivalent course director oversees training to provide one‑to‑one guidance throughout hands‑on implant placements and case planning.

Delegates earn 25 CPD points and receive a university‑based certificate. After the course they receive ongoing mentorship including monthly case discussion sessions and optional in‑practice mentorship with Dr Thomas.
